CONTINUUM traces dance’s ongoing evolution—where the past shapes the present and every movement opens a path forward. Featuring six works never before seen in Boston, the program explores memory, change, freedom, and our shared humanity. Intimate, honest, and alive, CONTINUUM reminds us that we are always becoming.

Ali Cederholm (Cisne) is a New York–based artist and 2025 summa cum laude graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Handpicked by John Lam for LDW’s inaugural season, she returns to create her first commissioned work for the company—a deeply personal expression of her emerging voice.

Chloe Crenshaw (Synthetica) is a New York–based choreographer whose work has been commissioned by BalletCollective, Whim W’Him, and Houston Contemporary 2. A 2026 Springboard Danse Emerging Choreographer and former dancer with GALLIM and Ballet BC, she brings a compelling new voice to contemporary dance.

Jon Ole Olstad (Dust and Water) is a Norwegian choreographer, educator, and former Nederlands Dans Theater 1 dancer. An award-winning dance maker known for physical intensity and emotional honesty, he has taught and created work at Juilliard, NYU Tisch, the Ailey School, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet.

Ken Ossola  (Moving Mountains) is an internationally renowned choreographer and former Nederlands Dans Theater artist whose work is celebrated for its beauty, refinement, and emotional depth. A trusted collaborator of John Lam, he returns to create his third work for LDW.

Robert Stephen (re:connection) is an award-winning Canadian choreographer, educator, and former First Soloist with The National Ballet of Canada. A former classmate of John Lam at Canada’s National Ballet School, he creates his first commissioned work for LDW.

Yury Yanowsky (Bathers) is an award-winning choreographer and former Boston Ballet Principal Dancer whose work is bold, athletic, and emotionally charged. A longtime collaborator of John Lam, he returns with his third work presented by LDW.
