A modern take on the screwball comedy of remarriage. To spare Frank’s feelings, his ex-wife, June, has kept her current serious romance hidden and has overtly pretended to be in a hopelessly depressive state. Eager to see June move on from their divorce, Frank suggests that he sets her up on a date which June agrees to on the terms that it is a double date with Frank and someone of her choosing. On the night of the date, June must bolster Frank while tanking her portion of the date, all while ensuring the evening ends with enough time to make a late dinner with her boyfriend and his boss.
