Celebrity Series of Boston PRESENTS:
Martha Graham Dance Company
One hundred years ago, Martha Graham started a conversation to redefine contemporary dance and the social, psychological, and sexual ideas it can portray. Her celebrated company perpetuates this legacy, keeping her choreography fresh and vital—solidifying Graham as an essential American artist. For the twelfth time since their 1945 debut, and for the first time since 2005, Martha Graham Dance Company returns to Celebrity Series. The performance, pairing classic and contemporary works, is part of the three-year GRAHAM100 celebration leading up to the group’s 2026 centennial.
